Mosaic Coalition
Who we are?
The MOSAIC Coalition is a well-organized and diverse group of organizations within the State of Connecticut committed to supporting minority communities and individuals in addressing their social-economic needs. We believe that bridging the social-economic gaps between the haves and have-nots is fundamental to building an inclusive and equitable society in Connecticut.
Our Vision
The MOSAIC Coalition envisions a diverse and inclusive society where everyone has equal access to social-economic services including education, healthcare, income, employment, nutrition, and community safety irrespective of their race, color, religion, gender, ethnicity, and sexual orientation.
Our Mission
The MOSAIC Coalition is a transformative and powerful institution that will connect and organize communities through advocacy, community outreach, education and training programs, cultural sharing events, forums, and symposia to build a vibrant, equitable, and peaceful society.

Mosaic Coalition
“The Mosaic Coalition will connect and organize diverse communities through educational programs, cultural sharing events, forums, and cultural activities. The Mosaic Coalition will grow into a transformative and powerful tool to widen the reach and effectiveness of advocacy efforts that will transform our state into a more vibrant, inclusive, and equitable place to live”.
LEAD
“Latinos for Education Advocacy was formed by a group of parents to provide quality educational options, programs and services for children and families throughout Connecticut”.
Is an amazing story of a persevering battle to expand educational options in Danbury by creating a charter school. The largely immigrant community is forced to take on powerful politicians, special interests, and the status quo to open a community school for their town.
